The purpose of this site is to clarify design decisions that go into building an offshore sailing catamaran for couples who want to liveaboard and cruise extensively. This site is hosted by Antares Yachts. Builders such as Leopard, Fountaine Pajot, Lagoon, Seawind, Catana, Privilege, Dolphin and others may or may not share these design priorities.
This blog will not only address frequently asked questions but will also present a Counter Point section with our arguments against certain design elements that we feel go against intelligent and safe design being used for offshore liveaboard cruising. We welcome your comments and questions.
Already I read some information, I learned very with this site, Thanks.
I am looking one catamaran to leave in cruises with the wife. My interest for taste and values this on Leopard 62 ‘ and the Sunreef 62’ year 2003 and 2005. It is possible to inform what of it has made a mistake in these boats.
